Job Description

In this newly created position, we are seeking a People Operations Coordinator who enjoys driving HR policy, benefit management, internal payroll, compliance, and engagement necessary to support a rapidly growing, multi-state business.

You will partner closely with senior leaders across the organization and will have a direct impact on the employee experience at Phaxis LLC.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic organization and who will drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable HR procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a staffing services company, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee employee benefit programs including medical, dental, 401k, life & disability insurance, PTO and sick leave processing, and unemployment compensation.
Establish and implement onboarding policy, procedures, and compliance that drives all aspects of internal employee onboarding to ensure a scalable, efficient, and welcoming process for new hires
Process all internal payroll on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
Create and implement a system for compensation administration and analysis; prepare and maintain job classifications, pay scales, proper benchmark analysis based on job type and location
Oversee all personnel record keeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations and exit interviews.
Monitor and ensure company compliance with all changes in human resource and employment law with federal, state, and local agencies related to employee benefits, compensation, employment, and training. Consult with legal counsel if necessary.
Manage all employee relations matters with internal employees and consultants including employee counseling as necessary
Provide all reporting for the Affordable Care Act, Covid19 and other regulatory requirements
Take an active role in professional HR organizations maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Provide immigration support for when foreign visa issues arise
Performs other duties as assigned

Michael Dimitrov

Chief Financial Officer

Michael Dimitrov is Chief Financial Officer of Phaxis, a workforce solutions company. He is based in Boston.


An accomplished Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Michael has over 25 years of experience at IT staffing and solutions-based companies and has a demonstrated track record of guiding both large, multi-national public and small, privately-held companies through profitable growth.


Michael joined Phaxis predecessor Park Hudson in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer from Hollister Staffing, where he held the same role. Previously, Michael was Chief Operating Officer of MRCC, an IT/software services provider. Prior to that he was Chief Financial Officer of Softworld, a staffing and consulting firm specialized in technology services, banking, government, engineering and clinical and biometric sciences.


Earlier in his career, Michael spent time in a variety of finance roles at well-known companies such as Randstad USA, Stride Rite, Wang Laboratories and TAD Resources International.


He is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelors in Management and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a workforce solutions company based in New York.


In this role, Drew leads the delivery and recruiting working closely with the leadership team to define a model that is efficient at supporting the firm’s current needs and is scalable for future growth.


Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. In that time, he has supported numerous Fortune 100/500/1000 organizations across industries by providing global workforce solutions, namely resources and thought leadership for large-scale projects, implementations, and managed services.


Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.


He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
